BALI + Soundrenaline 2017

I went to Bali on Sept, 2017 for 6 days, I spent the first 3 days at Uluwatu and the next 3 days at Nusas Island (Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan).  I will begin this story by letting you know the struggle of getting the promo tickets to Bali, I always think Bali is the most popular destination in Indonesia so you can get promo ticket easily, IF you look for it from a looooong loooong time, I started to find the promo ticket from the end of July 2017 till the end of August 2017, and I got none, but lessons learned, if you want to get the promo ticket to Bali you should start finding it from the beginning of year, January-April, I am sure you could get the promo ticket that costs Rp 400.000 – Rp 600.000 for round-trip. I at last bought the ticket from Airy, because that month Airy was giving Rp 100.000 discount promo for the airplane ticket you bought from Airy mobile apps. I got the promo ticket, aren't I?!

I arrived in Bali at the first Friday of Sept, 2017 at 1 AM, days before, I booked the hotel from Friday to Sunday, so that night I slept at the airport, the Ngurah Rai International Airport is always surrounded by people whenever you come, and moreover you could just sleep on the chairs at the food court, one of them is Solaria, just for your information, they have the comfy chairs. 

Me and my friends decided to use motorcycle to explore Bali because it is cheaper and it wont waste your time because Bali is sooo crowded these days, almost like Jakarta, but a little bit colder, and nicer, and full of tourist attraction and great scenery, okay it’s not like Jakarta. I found the rental at the instagram (ooh! You could find maaany instagram account the sell the promo tickets to Bali, but first make sure they are trusted). The motorcycle costed Rp 120.000 for 2 days, cheap but the gas was empty. When renting a motorcycle you could just ask the dealer to pick you up at the airport and give the motorcycle and you could just put the motorcycle at the airport if you have finished rent the motorcycle, and it is free of charge for some areas. 

I booked the hotel from Traveloka, it was Bali Natural Homestay, and it is placed near Uluwatu, I think it is 30 mins away from the airport. Why Uluwatu? Because the main reason I went to Bali was Soundrenaline 2017 and it's held at Garuda Wisnu Kencana, it is so close from Uluwatu. I will skip the story of Soundrenaline 2017, but you could watch the video of mine here if you want. I will put my Bali Itenerary list below for your reference:

1. Besakih Mother Temple at Karangasem (this is the holiest temple in Bali and it is so close with Agung Mountain, but it takes a loooooong time to get there from Uluwatu) // TIPS: if you go there, do not buy the myrrh if you are not going to pray, once more, IF you are not going to pray. You'll be forced to buy it but just go away and tell them you are not going to pray, because when I got there at the first time I bought the myrrh and I dont use it, and the local people inside the temple said to me that I  dont have to buy if I dont want to pray, it's fine.

2. Waterblow at Nusa Dua, it was full of dogs, tropical trees, fresh green grass, ice lemonade, people doing yoga, beaches, and there's a spot where you can see the water blows closely and the sunset is so breathtaking.. I am so in love with Waterblow at Nusa Dua.

3. Uluwatu Temple at Uluwatu, WATCH OUT THE MONKEYS, they'll rob you but they won't leave you, the monkey did stole my left flip-flop, and it wouldn't give it back if I didn't feed them. So, watch out even when you're walking with your friends and you feel very safe, they can be everywhere, I'm telling you. Fyi, I think this place is the most suitable place if you are a sunset hunter, you should come and see the sunset while listening to Senja by White Shoes and The Couples Company.

4. The Nusas Islandddd (Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan, and Nusa Lembongan), I will write the story about these island on the next post, see ya.
