Vihara Dhanagun at Surya Kencana Street, Bogor

at the age of nearly 300 years, Vihara Dhanagun could be the oldest temple in Bogor, it is located in Surya Kencana Street, Bogor, West Java.

I was actually planned to visit Bogor Botanical Garden but I didn't made it on time so the security wouldn't let me in, so I strolled around Bogor Botanical Garden and it got me there, to the temple. I was so excited to see inside the holy place of others, so I asked the permission if I could go inside and take some photos, and the guards let me in, also the people inside the temple were so kind and nice to me.

I am so happy because "these days" I still could feel that kind of "Unity In Diversity" moment there. Surya Kencana is one of the most popular street in Bogor, but I don't know people if people notice the temple or not because we can't see the building from Surya Kencana so clearly. But if next time you plan to go to Surya Kencana, I suggest you to stop by at this oldest temple in Bogor.
