a Film about road trip to California, starting when a 7-year-old Olive Hoover (Abigail Breslin) qualifies for a pre-pubescent beauty pageant for the title of Little Miss Sunshine) Olive has very weird family, a grandpa who is addicted with heroin, a bankrupt father, a frustrated mother, an uncle who failed a suicide attempt and a brother who maintains a vow of silence, too weird eh? But you’re gonna love them because that’s the twisted sense of humor that complements the realism, and holds the story together. Ooh! Another notable aspect of the film is its music, which is a mix of indie rock and folk music. This is definitely a road trip you don’t want to miss.
